Ok…watched the video some more, and it looks like you tilted the engne tranny combo down to gain more access to the top bolts. Is this the case?
If you don’t mind me asking, how do you guys get the upper bolts off the tranny? I’m working on my 96 Tacoma now to replace the clutch, and I can’t figure out what the correct tools are to remove those upper bolts. I’ve tried a long breaker bar using regular metric sockets, but no dice. I just can’t seem to get them loosened. Any advice?
@Demonchld666 Hey there, I would verify that you are using the best fitting socket by checking the socket on one of the bolts already out. Is there a bracket on that bolt causing an issue? Can you feel it and get to it from above? (doubt it…but asking anyway.) Can you get a wrench or just socket and wrench on it just to break it loose?

hey I am working on my 92 toyota 4×4. everything looks the same but I am having great difficulty getting to one of the bolts on the bell housing. it is the one on top of the bell housing that is toards the drivers side. I have tried to use a bunch of extensions and coming from the back over the top of the tranny, even lowered the cross member but I cant get a bite on the bastard. any advise or recommended set of tools? thats rest of the bell housing bolts were relatively easy. thanks

@Autotechviewpoint yes sir. all laying on the back. used a floor jack to hold the tranny and transfer case. ended up busting a bolt though :-/
