Question by skeptic: How can I tell if I have a 4 cylinder or a V-6 engine in my Toyota Tacoma?
It's a 2002, 4WD, 5 speed manual, I bought it used and I do not have the specifications.
How can I tell what the engine is by looking under the hood?
Please explain any technical terms - I'm a neophyte with this stuff.

Count the spark plug wires...if there are four, then its a four cylinder...
