I am a woman with a 2008 Tundra that hauls a travel trailer. I tried ‘universal’ tow mirrors when I could not find mirrors made for my truck – they were next to useless; I didn’t have enough strength in my hands to get them tight enough… or perhaps they would’ve slipped anyway. I put these CIPA mirrors on, no problem, they stay where they belong, I can see my trailer and most of what’s behind it, well worth the price!

These mirrors are the greatest accessory for those who tow and last forever. If you weren’t fortunate to have the OEM towing mirrors on your Tundra, these are the best alternative. Easy to put on and take off. Very secure with no need to worry about them falling off while driving. The only negative thing I can say about these is not the fault of the mirrors but the design of the Tundra. The mirrors on the Tundra create a dangerous blind spot and these do make it more of a blind spot. As long as you’re aware of the Tundra problem you won’t have a problem. Toyota should have designed the mirrors to be lower so you could see traffic over the top of them.

These mirrors are a great addition to the standard Tundra mirrors. They are a little hard to get line up right so that they fit tight but once you get them on they really help to see around the sides of our travel trailer. Good fix at a good price.

As I was going down the road, mirror just popped off. I went back and picked it up, and just jerked the other one off. Not sure how to make sure they will stay on. Maybe duct tape.

I picked these up for towing our trailer and they worked perfectly. They fit snug and don’t suffer from the vibration problems of the strap on type of mirror extensions. Best of all they cost about the same for a pair.
The only issue I had was when walking around the truck in the dark camp, walked right into one!
Don’t forgot these are on there, they stick out quite a ways further than you are used to.
